Here are four hospitals, health systems and cancer institutes that have expanded their facilities or shared plans to open new centers since May 25.

1. The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rockbrokeground May 25 on an expanded radiation oncology center, which will house the state's first proton center. UAMS is building the three-story structure in partnership with Arkansas Children's and Baptist Health, both based in Little Rock, as well Proton International.
2. FirstHealth of the Carolinas, based in Pinehurst, N.C.,brokeground May 27 on a 120,000-square-foot comprehensive cancer center slated to open in early 2023.
3. Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Cancer Instituteopeneda new center at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital June 1.
4. New Orleans-based Ochsner Health and Covington, La.-based St. Tammany Health Systemopeneda $50 million, 75,000-square-foot cancer center at Ochsner Health Center in Covington, June 7.
